[Competition] The Driffield Chrysanthemum Society’s Early Show

Just a short note to let you know that The Driffield Chrysanthemum
Society’s Early Show on the 17th of September 2011 has a new section for
amateur photographers.

There are two categories in the open section: A landscape in Yorkshire and
Wild Flowers and two categories in the children’s section: For under 10
years of age the subject is Pets and for under 16’s; A holiday snap.

Our early show will be held on Saturday 17 September 2011 in the Methodist
Church Hall, Westgate, Driffield and the rules for entry are as follows:-

Minimum size of photograph 7”x5” maximum size 10”x8”.
All photographs are to be mounted of card, NO FRAMES ALLOWED.
The photograph must be taken in 2011
No digital enhancement to be made, other than brightness.

Exhibits to be staged between 7pm and 10pm on Friday 18 September or 7.30am
– 10am on the day of the show.

Prize money in each of the four categories: 1st £3.00 2nd £2.00 3rd £1.00
